Directions

  1. Prepare the Cake:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweet potato puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
    • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
    • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
  2. Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl:
    • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
