French Toast Sticks

Ingredients

For the cinnamon sugar:

  • ½ cup white granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the egg mixture:

  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 slices white bread, cut into thirds
  • Nonstick spray

Instructions

  • First mix the eggs, powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl with a fork until well combined. And then dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture.
  • Then coat a frying pan with non-stick spray and heat over medium heat. Place chopsticks in a hot skillet and cook until browned, 2 to 3 minutes; turn over and cook until browned on the other side, another 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat with the second batch.
