An Iced Vanilla Almond Milk Latte

An Iced Vanilla Almond Milk Latte is a refreshing and creamy coffee drink that combines the smoothness of almond milk with the sweetness of vanilla.

Equipment

  • Espresso machine or coffee maker
  • Tall glass or cup
  • Spoon for stirring
  • Ice cube tray (optional, for making coffee ice cubes)

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or your preferred almond milk variety
  • 1-2 tablespoons vanilla syrup store-bought or homemade
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Whipped cream or vanilla extract for extra flavor

Instructions

  • Brew the Coffee:
  • Brew 2 shots of espresso using an espresso machine, or make 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee using your coffee maker. Let the coffee cool slightly.
  • Prepare the Glass:
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. If you want an extra coffee kick without dilution, use coffee ice cubes made by freezing leftover coffee in an ice cube tray.
  • Add Vanilla Syrup:
  • Pour 1-2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup over the ice. Adjust the amount based on your desired sweetness. You can also add a drop of vanilla extract for an extra vanilla flavor.
  • Add the Coffee:
  • Pour the freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee over the ice and vanilla syrup.
  • Add Almond Milk:
  • Slowly pour the almond milk into the glass, watching it mix with the coffee to create a beautiful layered effect. Stir gently to combine.
  • Serve:
  • Serve the Iced Vanilla Almond Milk Latte immediately. If you like, top with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon for an extra treat.

Notes

Customize Sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can add more vanilla syrup or sweeten the almond milk before adding it to the coffee.
