Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing the paper to hang over the edges for easy removal.
Prepare the Brownie Layer:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Bake the Brownie Layer:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
Prepare the Banana Pudding Layer:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened.
In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the banana pudding mixture until well combined.
Assemble the Banana Pudding Brownies:
Once the brownies have cooled, spread the banana pudding mixture evenly over the brownie layer.
Arrange the banana slices on top of the pudding layer.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Serve:
Once set, lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and transfer to a cutting board.
Slice into squares and serve chilled.
