Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

Cheesecake Crescent Rolls are a delightful dessert that’s incredibly easy to make. Buttery, flaky crescent rolls are filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture and baked until golden.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or whisk
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or non-stick spray
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz package crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon optional, for sprinkling
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray with non-stick spray.
  • Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Fill the Rolls: Add a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture to the wide end of each crescent roll triangle. Carefully roll the dough up, starting at the wide end and tucking the filling inside as you roll.
  • Brush with Butter: Lightly brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter. If desired, sprinkle with cinnamon for extra flavor.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Keep the Filling Contained: Avoid overfilling the rolls to prevent the cheesecake mixture from oozing out during baking.
Flavor Boost: Add a sprinkle of lemon zest or a pinch of nutmeg to the cheesecake filling for extra flavor.
