- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Divide the dough in half. Add the cocoa powder to one half and mix until fully incorporated. Add the peanut butter to the other half and mix until fully incorporated.
- Form the Cookies:
- Take a tablespoon of chocolate dough and a tablespoon of peanut butter dough. Press them together and gently swirl them to create a marbled effect. Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the Cookies:
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly soft. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Notes
