Instructions
Prepare the Egg Mixture:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
Dip the Bread:
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
Cook the French Toast:
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil.
Cook each slice of soaked bread until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Prepare the Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:
Mix the additional sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
Coat the French Toast:
While still warm, coat each piece of French toast in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, ensuring it is well covered.
Serve:
Serve the Churro French Toast warm, with maple syrup, whipped cream, or fresh fruit as desired.
Notes
For an added touch, serve with a side of chocolate sauce for dipping.
