- Prepare the Dough:
- In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture, softened butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let the Dough Rise:
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Filling:
- In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Shape the Bread:
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Roll up the dough tightly from one end to the other and place it in a greased loaf pan, seam side down.
- Bake the Bread:
- Cover the loaf pan with a clean cloth and let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve:
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
