Cinnamon Roll French Toast

Cinnamon Roll French Toast takes two breakfast favorites and combines them into one irresistibly decadent dish.

Equipment

  • Skillet or griddle
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large cinnamon rolls sliced horizontally into two halves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup and powdered sugar for serving

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Egg Mixture:
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well blended.
  • Soak Cinnamon Rolls:
  • Dip each cinnamon roll half into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
  • Cook:
  • Melt butter in a skillet or on a griddle over medium heat. Place the soaked cinnamon rolls in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Serve:
  • Serve the Cinnamon Roll French Toast warm, drizzled with maple syrup and dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes

For an extra indulgent twist, serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
