In a mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes. Add sugar, softened butter, salt, eggs, and flour, and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Make the Filling:
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
Shape the Bread:
Roll the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top.
Roll up the dough tightly and place it seam side down in a greased loaf pan.
Second Rise:
Cover the loaf and let rise again until puffed, about 30 minutes.
Bake:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool and Serve:
Let the bread cool before slicing. Serve as is or toast with butter.
Notes
For an extra rich flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the dough.
