Ingredients
  

  • For the Meatloaf
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Glaze
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • For the Potatoes
  • 4 large potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Form the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, combine ketchup, barbecue sauce, and brown sugar. Spread the glaze over the meatloaf.
  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, cream, and cheese.
  • Spread the mashed potatoes over the meatloaf in the baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the meatloaf is cooked through and the potatoes are golden.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
