Season and Sear the Chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Make the Sauce Base:
Lower the heat to medium. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Add the Cream and Cheese:
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
Season the Sauce:
Stir in Italian seasoning and adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Return the Chicken to the Pan:
Place the chicken breasts back into the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.
