Delicious Philly Cheese Steak Pasta

This Delicious Philly Cheese Steak Pasta recipe combines all the flavors of the classic sandwich into a comforting, cheesy pasta dish.

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Medium saucepan
  • Large pot for boiling pasta
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound pasta penne or rigatoni
  • 1 pound thinly sliced steak or ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 slices provolone cheese chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Pasta:
  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Sauté Vegetables:
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Cook the Beef:
  • In the same skillet, cook the steak or ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Make the Sauce:
  • Reduce the heat to medium. Add beef broth, cream cheese, and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
  • Add Cheese:
  • Stir in the chopped provolone cheese until melted and combined.
  • Combine Ingredients:
  • Return the sautéed vegetables to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat everything in the sauce.
  • Serve:
  • Garnish with parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
