- Prepare the Dough:
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
- Using a small round cutter, cut out the center of each biscuit to create a donut shape. Keep the donut holes to air fry them as well!
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.
- Air Fry the Donuts:
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with a little oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the donuts (and donut holes) in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded. Work in batches if necessary.
- Air fry the donuts for 4-5 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and puffed.
- Coat with Cinnamon Sugar:
- While the donuts are air frying, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Once the donuts are done, immediately brush them with melted butter and toss them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Optional Glaze:
- For glazed donuts, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl to make a smooth glaze.
- Dip the air-fried donuts into the glaze, and let them sit on a wire rack until the glaze sets.
