Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 ½ cups elbow macaroni uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional, for topping
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Cook the Ground Beef:
  2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics:
  4. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  5. Add Liquids and Seasonings:
  6. Stir in the beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  7. Cook the Pasta:
  8. Add the elbow macaroni to the pot and stir well. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
  9. Finish and Serve:
  10. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. If desired, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top and let it melt. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
