Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked chicken shredded or cubed
  • cups diced ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp butter melted

  • Medium saucepan
  • Whisk

Method
 

  1. Preheat the Oven
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  3. Make the Cream Sauce
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat, stirring until smooth and warmed through. Remove from heat.
  5. Layer the Casserole
  6. Spread half of the shredded chicken evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Top with half of the diced ham and 4 slices of Swiss cheese.
  8. Pour half of the cream sauce over the layer.
  9. Repeat the layers with the remaining chicken, ham, cheese, and cream sauce.
  10. Add Breadcrumb Topping
  11. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs and melted butter. Stir until evenly coated. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the casserole.
  12. Bake
  13. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
