Method
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Cook the Filling: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning, following package instructions. Add diced onions and bell peppers if using, and cook until softened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Roll Out the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about ¼-inch thick.
- Add the Filling: Spread the seasoned beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Roll It Up: Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, pinching the seams and ends to seal. Place the roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with Butter: Mix the melted butter with garlic powder, then brush the mixture over the top of the bread.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Let the bread cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, like marinara or ranch.
