Hamburger Rice Casserole

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 cup cooked rice white or brown
- 1 can 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup frozen peas or diced carrots optional
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced onions over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onions are soft. Drain any excess fat.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Combine Ingredients:
In the skillet with the beef, add the cooked rice, optional vegetables, and the prepared soup mixture. Stir to combine.
Assemble the Casserole:
Transfer the beef and rice mixture to the greased casserole dish. Spread evenly. Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.

Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
