Instructions
Prepare the Ground Beef Mixture:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the condensed tomato soup, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Cook the Pasta:
While the beef mixture is simmering, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
Combine Ingredients:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture. Mix until well combined.
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Prepare the Topping:
In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with the melted butter. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the casserole.
Bake the Casserole:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
Notes
Serve:
Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
