Jalapeno Popper Pinwheels are a delicious appetizer that combines the flavors of classic jalapeno poppers with the convenience of bite-sized pinwheels.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapenos, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Prepare the Dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface. If the dough is perforated, press the seams together to form one large sheet.
Spread the Filling:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Roll and Slice:
Starting from one of the long sides, roll the dough tightly into a log. Use a sharp knife to slice the log into 1/2-inch thick pinwheels.
Bake the Pinwheels:
Place the pinwheels cut side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
Allow the pinwheels to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature.
