Method
- Make the Lavender Honey Syrup:
- In a small saucepan, combine the water, honey, and dried lavender.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Once it starts to simmer, reduce the heat to low and let it steep for about 5 minutes to allow the lavender to infuse the syrup with its flavor.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a jar or pitcher, discarding the lavender buds. Let the syrup cool to room temperature.
- Brew the Coffee:
- Brew a strong cup of coffee using your preferred method, or use cold brew concentrate for a smoother taste. Let the coffee cool to room temperature if it's hot.
- Assemble the Iced Coffee:
- In a tall glass filled with ice cubes, pour the cooled coffee.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of the lavender honey syrup to the coffee, adjusting to taste. Stir well to combine.
- If you prefer a creamier drink, add milk or your favorite milk alternative and stir.
