8large flour tortillas
2cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
1/2cupmarinara sauce
1/4cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1/2cupchopped fresh basiloptional
Olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
Prepare the Meatballs:
If using store-bought meatballs, cook them according to package instructions and slice them. If using homemade meatballs, slice them after cooking.
Assemble the Quesadillas:
Lay out 4 tortillas and evenly spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each.
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce.
Distribute the sliced meatballs evenly over the cheese.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the meatballs.
Top with the remaining tortillas.
Cook the Quesadillas:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil or cooking spray.
Cook each quesadilla for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Press down gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking.
Notes
Cut the quesadillas into wedges and serve warm. Garnish with chopped fresh basil, if desired.
