- Prepare the Meatballs:
- If using store-bought meatballs, cook them according to package instructions and slice them. If using homemade meatballs, slice them after cooking.
- Assemble the Quesadillas:
- Lay out 4 tortillas and evenly spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce.
- Distribute the sliced meatballs evenly over the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the meatballs.
- Top with the remaining tortillas.
- Cook the Quesadillas:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Cook each quesadilla for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Press down gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking.
Notes
Cut the quesadillas into wedges and serve warm. Garnish with chopped fresh basil, if desired.
