OVEN BAKED BBQ CHICKEN WINGS

- 1 cup flour(125 g)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 20 chicken wings, or drumettes
- 1 cup BBQ sauce(290 g)
- ½ cup honey(170 g)
Step 1Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Then line a jelly-roll pan with aluminumfoil and grease it with a teaspoon of oil.
Step 2Place the wings in a single layer on the prepared pan, skin-side up, leaving asmall space between each wing. Brush the top of each wing with a third of a cupof oil. Spread the hot sauce on the oil layer.
Step 3Bake in the preheated oven, brushing with juices several times, until wings arebrowned, 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. An immediate thermometer inserted near the boneshould read 165°F (74°C).
Step 4Remove the tray from the oven and blot the excess fat with paper towels. Spreadthe barbecue sauce over the top side of the wings.
Step 5Try to return the wings to the oven and bake for 5 minutes. Spread a secondlayer of BBQ sauce on the wings; Bake for another 5 minutes.
