Method
- Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Baking Sheet:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Prepare the Dough:
- Divide the pizza dough into small pieces, about the size of a golf ball.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out each piece into a circle approximately 4 inches in diameter.
- Assemble the Pizza Balls:
- Spoon a small amount of marinara sauce onto the center of each dough circle (be careful not to overfill).
- Add a generous pinch of mozzarella cheese and your chosen toppings to each.
- Sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges together to seal, forming a ball.
- Place the pizza balls seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Season the Pizza Balls:
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
- Brush the olive oil mixture over the tops of the pizza balls to help them turn golden brown and add flavor.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the pizza balls are golden and puffed up.
Notes
Allow the pizza balls to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
