S’mores Bars

These S’mores Bars bring the classic campfire treat to your kitchen in an easy-to-make dessert. With layers of graham cracker crumbs, gooey marshmallows, and melty chocolate, these bars are a nostalgic, sweet treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

  • Mixing bowls

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • Make the Crust:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form an even crust.
  • Layer the Ingredients:
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the crust, followed by a layer of mini marshmallows.
  • Add Sweetened Condensed Milk:
  • Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  • Bake the Bars:
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and gooey.
  • Cool and Slice:
  • Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares. For cleaner cuts, chill the bars in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Add Texture: Include crushed pretzels or chopped nuts for added crunch.
Switch the Chocolate: Try white chocolate or dark chocolate for a flavor twist.
Make it Extra Gooey: Add a layer of caramel sauce before baking.
