Sweet Baby Ray’s Crockpot Chicken

This Sweet Baby Ray’s Crockpot Chicken recipe is simple, delicious, and perfect for busy days. Tender, shredded chicken coated in a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce makes an ideal sandwich filling, taco topping, or served over rice.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce or your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crockpot
  • Lightly grease the crockpot with non-stick spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
  • Season the Chicken
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Mix the Sauce
  • In a bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well blended.
  • Cook the Chicken
  • Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken breasts. Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  • Shred the Chicken
  • Once the chicken is done, use two forks to shred it directly in the crockpot, mixing it with the sauce. Let it sit for another 10-15 minutes to soak up the flavors.
