- Brew the Espresso:
- Brew 2 shots of strong espresso using an espresso machine. If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can use very strong brewed coffee as an alternative.
- Prepare the Brown Sugar Syrup:
- While the espresso is hot, dissolve the brown sugar into it by stirring thoroughly. This creates a sweetened espresso base.
- Shake the Drink:
- Fill a cocktail shaker or a jar with a tight-fitting lid about halfway with ice cubes.
- Pour the sweetened espresso over the ice.
- Add the oat milk to the shaker.
- Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds. The goal is to cool the mixture rapidly and create a frothy texture with the oat milk.
Notes
Strain the shaken espresso and oat milk into a glass filled with fresh ice cubes to keep it chilled without further dilution.
