Method
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the Butter and Sugars:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add the Eggs and Vanilla:
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the Mix-Ins:
- Stir in the white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts until evenly distributed.
- Scoop and Bake:
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may still look slightly soft, but they will firm up as the cookies cool.
Notes
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
