EASY BLACKBERRY COBBLER

This dessert has a bit of a tang, which is whatmakes it so perfect for a cobbler.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 2 teaspoons of orange zest.
  • 1 cup Gold All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • Cream, whipped cream

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine blackberries, sugar, andorange zest. Leave it for 20 minutes until it becomes a syrup.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. In a medium bowl, whisktogether flour, baking powder, melted butter, and milk.
  • Then pour mixture into an ungreased 8-inch bakingdish
  • Pour the berry mixture on top and bake for 40-50minutes, until golden brown.
