Ingredients
  

  • For the Brownie Layer:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • For the Banana Pudding Layer:
  • 1 package 3.4 ounces instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 ripe bananas sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing the paper to hang over the edges for easy removal.
  • Prepare the Brownie Layer:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake the Brownie Layer:
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  • Prepare the Banana Pudding Layer:
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the banana pudding mixture until well combined.
  • Assemble the Banana Pudding Brownies:
  • Once the brownies have cooled, spread the banana pudding mixture evenly over the brownie layer.
  • Arrange the banana slices on top of the pudding layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  • Serve:
  • Once set, lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and transfer to a cutting board.
  • Slice into squares and serve chilled.
