- 3 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini works well)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Prepare the Ground Beef Mixture:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the condensed tomato soup, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cook the Pasta:
- While the beef mixture is simmering, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
